Sunrise Community Counseling Center (SCCC)
SCCC is a non-profit substance abuse/mental health clinic founded in 1976. SCCC outpatient programs are private, free standing and dedicated to:
- The prevention and treatment of alcohol and drug abuse counseling and addiction
- Providing services to senior citizens which facilitate independence, socialization and optimal health
- Assisting the proces of acculturation of legal immigrant parents and first generation children
- Educating youth about the effects of addiction on the individual, family and the community
- Providing support for families with HIV and STDs in the community
SCCC's services include:
- Outpatient drug free counseling
- Parenting education and child abuse assessment and intervention
- Sexual offenders program
- Domestic violence perpetrator group
- Relapse prevention
- Group counseling
- Family and child therapy
- Individual counseling
- Dual diagnosis treatment
- Community outreach
- Lethality assessment
- AIDS, HIV prevention, intervention and education
- Mental health, drug, alcohol assessment
- Drug and alcohol testing
- Youth high risk behavior crisis intervention
